That's right, I did 45 intervals today :) This was part of a test I found on the low hr group to determine your true MAF. It was pretty cool. I started at 5.5 mph and every 10 seconds I bumped it up .1 mph til I hit 10. You can see the graph and thread here:

It's pretty clear that my MAF is in the 143 - 145 range which is right where I was for my easy running. I'm counting this as a light interval since I did a few minutes of faster running at the end of the test and my HR reached 175.

This MAF stuff is so cool! Way to come back from vacation and get right back on the horse. You are still a machine. As for your weight mystery, who knows...maybe there is a lag. Heck, if you've ever seen the Biggest Loser TV show you know that there can be weeks where someone busts their hump in the gym 6 hours a day everyday with a personal trainer and specialized diet and they somehow gain 5 pounds. Then, the next week they take it easy and somehow lose 10. The human body is amazing!

Nice. You are light as a feather, fast as a gazelle, and strong like bull. All while maintaining the heartrate of a hibernating European hedgehog (look it up!). This is strong to quite strong my friend.
