First 17 miler of this years marathon training. Felt good even though it was hard to get out the door this morning. It was a mental battle because I had taken the previous 3 days off due to a weak ankle. New shoes this morning as well. Same model as my last 3 stability shoes so I wasn't concerned about running in new shoes on a long run. Legs were sore following, but lungs felt great and had a lot more in them.
I used half a package of a Shot Blok Strawberry about 9 miles. I ran this like I did last weeks 16 because I still do not have my GPS watch back.
Lost 3.5 lbs on this run.
