Solo run around the fields. The XC teams were out doing their double. I didn't feel great, but I was running much faster than in the past. Slowest lap was 1:57.9; almost all were 1:55-1:56. Last one was 1:53. I can't believe how fast I'm improving. The run felt really long, but such is the nature of monotonous solo runs on a small loop. My left shin is just barely whispering to me, but I'm trying not to worry about it. After the run I did 4x20 second barefoot. strides on the baseball field (turf.) Felt like I was flying. Miserably humid today, gonna be hot the next few days too. Track session tomorrow.
