I'm resuming my running career. How strange! I am aiming for the indoor track season, where I'll be looking to just get back to racing and re-learning how to do this thing. Ultimately, I'd like to set new PRs at every distance. But really, I'd be quite pleased to simply stay healthy. So my plan is to build up to 35 miles per week very gradually, through walk/runs for three weeks. I plan to bike/swim/elliptical/cross train however is beneficial. This was an inauspicious commencement, if a foolish one. I walked 40 minutes, did 2 run/2 walk with a 4 minute walk in the middle for 32 minutes, then walked about 40 more. This thing ended up being 2 hours and 8 miles. I was quite tired afterwards. It is a start!
