Nice run with Tim. Started with the Elizabeth Park loop and did it in about 35 flat. I felt strong and we talked a good amount. Then I went solo to the rugby for some loops, and was 1:54-1:55 for the laps, meaning the pace was quick, but I don't know if I sped up after leaving Tim. So I'll just call it 6 even. Then I stretched, did some drills, and did 3x20 second strides on the field, barefoot. Felt pretty smooth at the quick pace, but was probably a bit faster than mile pace. Gonna work on taking the strides slower and not sprint them, though I was quite relaxed. Building up the mileage baby. I'm down to 143 pounds, from over 160. About eight more to go. But no rush for that. Once I start doing 50 mile weeks that'll happen.
