Small race. One guy went out ahead of me for the first 3/4 mile, I stayed pretty close, but he died pretty hard when I went by him. Got a really bad cramp with about 1/2 mile to go. Splits were 5:22, 5:28, 5:44. Turns out the guy who went out ahead of me designed the course, & we both agreed it was about 100 yards short. It was nice to get a good amount of off-road running in. Didn't have much of a kick, but I was 1:30 ahead so I didn't need it. Felt tough to double with 2 5k's in one day, but it's good practice for RTB. In 3 months.
