:Started off slow, then my speed slowly increased through the first three miles. Kept pretty close to the same pace for most of the rest of the run. Felt very good throug the first 5. Started to lose focus after mile 6. Decided to add extra half mile near end of run. I need to start carrying 'fuel' with me now on these longer runs. Started with a juice at home this morning, and that was fine for about the first 6. I really started to run low on energy just after 7 miles. Still was able to carry on, but I don't think I could have gone much further. Good to understand my limits. Will have to start looking at gel packs to take. I'll try and pick a few up tonight on the way home to try next week, weather permitting.

Next Day: No soreness or tightness to report today. Feel good. I will try and get a run in early tomorrow to help spread my running thru the week better.
