Maroon miles. First split around 6:55. I tried to push the pace the entire way. I made a deal with myself that if I ran under 12:30 (7:00 pace) from the fields where I did the long run, then I would use maroon miles instead of calling it 7:10 or even 7:20.

I quickly did pull ups and dips after 55 min. It made me breathe hard. I ran the 4x200 with 2 more miles to run. It really made me pant.

Overall, it was a great workout - one of the fastest long runs for me ever, and perhaps my 2nd longest. It also caps off my longest mileage week excluding last fall when I didn't keep track of mileage, and was basically just trying to get through the season in 1 piece.

Quads were fine. I've been avoiding the badger circut with the excuse that makeing my other muscles sore might take away from my body's efforts to repair my quads. But I've realized that that was a bad excuse. I did the badger circut without lunges.
