Rain, light headwind and a gentle hill in first half of race. Ran w/ Shawn. He moved ahead in mile 3 but that wasn't because I slowed. Got to watch top 3 places play out. Shawn made a move but pulled the smurf guy along so it was clear that youth was strong with the kid. Same with the guy out front who looked like he was just doing enough to win. Nice race and day despite all the rain. Finished 4th. Happy to get my 4 mile pace down to 6 again. It's been a while.
