tried to go slower but can not seem to control that 1st mile. Got to mile 3 under 8min pace then set countdown timer going from 8:30 managed to stay below this & make some time but by mile 6 I felt myself slow mainly, i think, due to the heat. but the wheels did not come of completely & I managed to keep a slower pace going & felt I was recovering at that speed & could of kept it going if I had more water with me. pushed the last half mile run in but got stopped at the road & the 5:10 run in would of been better.
