Got a rare chance to work with my low end girls. All my top boys were gone except one. So sent him and Jordyn with the high school girl's varsity. The boy disappointed. Jordyn continues to be a machine. She finished a 7 miler with the J.V. boys and top varsity girl (a sub 21 5k girl last year) I'm trying desperately to find a No.4 and 5 girl. Not sure if I did that but I got one of my returners through a 5 miler at the same overall pace as her 1.95 time trial last year. Not a great time but I was proud of her improvement. Made me happy to bite the bullet on this run.
My top boy cut the run a mile short. The .31 was me trying to get him to make it up and failing. Going to have to toughen him up. This will be continued in the next entry.
