Notes

First run in these hot-rods shoes. They felt like slippers and are ridiculously light. The feel of them reminded me the sole pair of track spikes I had from my sole season of track. The difference though is these fit! Those track spikes were hand me downs and a size to small, man those hurt.

These shoes have little margin for error and require efficiency and really drove me to be light and quick. They helped me work to have more knee flex so I don't pound to much on the leg strike.

Ran towards harriet and was overdressed in the long sleeve. Shoes had good feel and flexibility, totally different from any other running shoe I've had. I felt like running fast but held back. The legs felt great and don't show effects of a marathon 8 days ago but I know theres tissue rebuilding going on in there.

I had a slight left shin feeling around mile 4 which made me nervous but it subsided. Around that time other areas flared up briefly and I thought how stupid I was to be running in saran wrap like I was but it all went away and I enjoyed the shoes. Wasn't all roses as on the way back I felt irration in my right foot and had three issues. A nail caused a blister or cut and bled. Next, a moose mtn blister said good bye and ripped off and finally the pad of the food has an boo-boo of some sort, not sure what it is but it hurt. My lower right calf hurt as well, I assume that may be linked to the foot.

I'll see how I feel tomorrow, I certainly expect some feedback. I may have time to run in the speed skys tomorrow but it's a BUSY day.
