RPE6-7. I have noticed from previous persistant aches that do not go away that if I take the adequate amt of rest time and it does not go away all I have to do is pick up the active. For ex, My achilles and calf have bothered me however slightly it is something that I usually felt first thing in the a.m....So after a full mnth off of no running I tryed runnning on it this past sunday, ensuring that I took it very light and now I have no discomfort at all. This has occurred in the past as well. As long as I take the necessary rest, I can resume running even if I am not 100%. I feel this is related to a small amount of additional stretchn gthat is involved in the actaul active itself. As long as I take the run very easy, it helps my recover...If this had only happned once I would not feel this way...
I am ready to run...But for the next 2 weeks I will run very short and slow...and slowly increase as I feel ...
Today ran 8:34/pace. HR max was around 130. 87-89 foot strike...1% incline on Treadmill. With brochitis I do not need to get into the water or spend much time outdoors...Stretched afterwards...
