rpe 7-8. Run felt good for the 1st 1:55-2hrs. Aftr that it became a little tougher. If you notice that the same side of the lake that was windier my splits were slower. The windy portion came at the end of my run. Did two loops at lake. Somewhere right before mile 4, I found a good solid comfortable rtythm and just went with it. On the 2nd loop I got to run with some of the slower marathoners from BIG D race. It was nice to run with a group even if I was running past them and not so much with them. But I was able to use their water stations. That was nice. I enjoyed running in a group. It kept me motivated.

I guess it wasnt a bad idea after all to run on Friday. BC what I did 2 days ago affects what I do today....And today was my best long run this year. And it comes at the end of my big run block which is another positive..My calves felt good. But my lower ab and hip bothered me slightly and progressively got more noticeable the last 20mins..walked afterwards and stretched. Good way to end run block.
