First run after a week of complete rest. Deep tissue massage on Wed, Aug 26, on hips, hamstrings, glutes, and calves. Good stretch after run, and 300 sit-ups on ball. Legs felt great during and after run this morning. Something I haven`t noticed in a while. Had to really try hard to hold speed back. Average just over 8:00 minute pace. I will continue to do these short easy runs for a few more days to "ease" back into my usual routine.
Cycling day coming up on Sunday morning. MS-150 only a couple of weeks away. I will go for another massage on legs this coming Wednesday.
