Schedule: 10 @ 7:15-30
Did a 1 mile warm up (9 minutes) and then progressed the 10 starting at a 7:30 pace. Felt really good after the first 2-3 miles. Legs felt great with the NEW SHOES!!! Woohoo! Wish I could buy shoes as soon as the old ones wear out . . . alas, they cost too much. Sigh. By July I should be able to get new shoes when I need them - salary increase! Woohoo!
Had a lot of stress, emotional stress, mental exhaustion to run out . . . felt better afterward. Also finally remembered to use the foam roll on my right hammy (which has been really tight for months now and regular stretching doesn't seem to work). I think it did help, but I need to use it more consistently for better possible results.
