Jeff High School Prom 4k. Proceeds went to the prom, not a real big turn out maybe 100-150. I figured I had a really good shot at winning it. Started off a little slow but kicked it in after about 5-600 yards and had a superb first mile which set me up to have a great time. Went through mile one at 5:09, slowed through mile two after putting on a huge lead. Mile two was at 10:37. Finished up the last .5 or so with a 2:25.
Very happy with the race my goal was 13:30's and maybe 13:20 if I felt alright. I guess I underestimated myself, makes me excited for next weeks 4 miler and race season to get into full swing.
