Hadn't run in almost two weeks because of a bad cough and then the winter weather this week. I felt good as soon as I got moving. It just felt really good to be running. My first thought was to do a warmup mile and then bump it to 7:00-7:30 pace and do 4. I was feeling so good after the 4th mile that I decided to do a speed mile at 6:00 flat. I was tired at the end of it but not completely drained. It always feels so good to let my stride open up a bit, especially after a long stretch off.
