Meh, not the best run ever. Went out with Mugsy (so I wasn't alone in the dark) and was hoping for at least 2 miles, maybe 3. But I don't live in a neighborhood conducive to running at night, and so, I ended up barely squeezing out a mile, and that's after a couple laps around the same streets. Our neighborhood is very small and contained within 2 major thoroughfares that are NOT very pedestrian or runner friendly. Loud, dirty and busy with traffic (and people who suck at driving) so it's not a place I want to run, especially at night.
Given this, I guess I've learned that my running will have to be done before nightfall, as there really is nowhere for me to go otherwise. The thought of a treadmill did cross my mind, but I really hate those damn things, and it isn't the same. And I don't want it taking up half of my basement.
