Went out WAY too fast on this run and ended up ruining the entire thing...my legs were so sore/burning from the lactic acid, I couldn't help but stop after 5 laps on the track and stretch out/let the acid go away. Leaned my lesson (a lesson I've learned before) not to go out too fast, you can never be too easy on the first mile of a short run and the first few on a long run.
