AWESOME run. It was sprinkling a little when I started the run and I was getting a little wet, which I expected. Halfway through my run, it started to downpour (and it was thundering and lightning the entire time). I didn't even care - I was soaked and I was going to be regardless. I just enjoyed my run, literally "soaked" it up. I loved it. It was such a connection with nature, life, running and myself all at once. And thanks to the temperature and cooling rain, I had an excellent pace with no extra effort (there's that 9:45 mile pace I used to know in the Sping time!). This time confirmed my suspicion that the temperature truly impacts my pace, slowing it down by about 15 seconds per mile at least.
Amazing run. Loved it. No pain in the knees or muscles, no breathing problems.
