Ugh!!!
Mother Nature was a BITCH on this run.
I set out to run an easy 10, and was really looking forward to running long and easy.
It was overcast and a little chilly, but I knew I'd be warming up on the run so I didn't think twice about it.
2 miles in and I started to feel some drops, rut-roh...
2 and 1/2 miles in, the temperature felt like it had dropped 10 degrees, more drops (lots!) and I had to turn around.
I was SO bummed and the run home was NOT enjoyable! I mean, I've run in rain storms, thunder storms, snow storms, even an 18 mile long run that rained the entire way! But none of those were as uncomfortable as being stuck 2 and 1/2 miles from home, under-dressed, in freezing rain on the verge of being snow while the temp continues to plummet.
So, long run short, I ended up doing a yucky five miler. Boo.
