Legs were still stiff and achy this evening but i loosened up with each passing mile. I had to stop every couple miles to stretch the legs out so i did'nt feel like i was pounding on the pavement. I did some short 40 to 45 second strides for the last .30 or so of the run to get the legs primed for speedwork tomorrow. Splits for the run:9:00,8:46,8:40,8:39,8:31,8:17,3:51 for .50(7:44 pace) then alternating strides for .10 on and recover for .10:41/52, 44/58, and 43. Hopefully legs will b better tomorrow.
