It was a little warm at the start but got better during the run as the sun hid behind the clouds for a bit. Nick Bias was out on the roads with his cross country kids and he was gracious enought to slow down and keep me as company for over 5 miles of this run, which helped me to get a little uptempo run but it was still controlled for the most part. The conditions still made it a little tougher. When i got back to UC at 6.85 i was done regardless of the last .15 to go. He decided to run another mile solo which was alright w/me at that point. I am close enough to 10 miles for the day, and i might do the 5k in the morning. Splits for the run:8:52,8:21,8:15,8:13,8:10,8:17, and 6:53(for the .85 or 8:07 pace). Very pleased with how this week is going.
