Good group turn out this morningl. Felt pretty good going out in the first mile or so, but then started feeling some nausea from sinus problems then fatigue in the legs from the previous 2 days of hill running, and yesterday was a hard effort. It was rough getting up Oakwood then i guess stopping long enough to get some water and things turned around for the better from that point on. On the flats i had the chance to run w/Kelly Castlebury who i have heard about but to my knowledge i had not spoken or run with. I did'nt realize he had some really good marathon races in the past and is getting back into the training now. Talking to him on the run helped to pass the last few miles. I thought about going to the fence, but just did not have it in me today. I was able to drop the pace down nicely on a few of the miles on the flats and the last 2 miles in a row. Splits for the run:8:10,8:11,8:19,8:20,9:07,8:56,8:07,7:02,7:51,8:06,7:53,and 7:41. This was a good run to wrap up the week. 66 miles on 6 days of running and some quality hard workouts making up a good portion of the weeks runs.
