Notes

Mixed emotions with this one. I ran a solid effort on this race, and though it was rough at the end with spasms in both legs from 10 miles on, and pretty bad from 13 and on, i am thankful the sun did not come out to add to the humidity. I kept it together really well for this first CDR since 2009. At the end of the day i ran what i felt i was going to run time wise somewhere between 2:03 and 2:05 but disappointed that spasms really squandered my shot at running close to 2 hrs or even slightly under until about mile 11 or 12. Really pleased with my conditioning at this point in a rough summer. I think i can definitely build on a solid base going into Columbus. My plan is to recover well from this race and then set into some race specific training for the marathon and really hit the 20 milers and hopefully beyond the 20 mark. Splits for my race today:7:35,7:43,7:56,8:06,9:31,8:59,8:16,6:57,8:09,8:38,8:10,8:40,8:42,9:19,and 8:45.
