I was pretty conservative on my stride paces today --- my leg is getting better, but it's not all the way better yet and I dont want to push it. I was feeling a little sore after the first 2-3 -- When i do strides on the treadmill, I tend to overstride and really drive my knees -- but that didnt feel the greatest. So, i ended up shifting to a quicker cadence and shorter step to hit the paces. The paces I did felt fairly easy for me from a cardio standpoint, and my HR didnt get too far up there. But better safe than sorry on the leg at this point.
Other than a few twinges the first couple of strides --- i felt pretty good on the rest of the run and feel ok after. I'm icing anyways, just because it feels like the right thing to do :)
