Shorter strides are da bomb! Totally made a huge difference - before I was counting down the time and distance til I could stop running. It was so much easier and smoother running this way that I was done running each mile before I knew it! This morning I was thinking there was no way I could run 2 miles without stopping..now I know I can. I did run a much slower pace tonight, but it was on purpose .. my hammies are still not the happiest campers (but the shorter strides helped there too) .

Used footpod for first time...works awesome! It showed 0.14 for one lap of inner ring. Supposed to be 0.16 for one lap around outer rim, so this seems pretty accurate...
