Notes
This felt kinda rough to me, although it felt better later in the run. I think I"m doing a bit of adjusting, getting back used to the longer runs and the higher mileage. After running 16 on Sunday and then almost 9 miles of speedwork in high temps on Tuesday, my legs felt really tired. I was feeling a little bummed initially -- last time I did this run was in Sept 2010, and I averaged about 10:45 ... so when I was struggling to just do an 11 in MIle 3, I was feeling a bit disheartened. But then I realized that I would not have done anywhere near the mileage back in 2010 prior to doing that run, plus it was a lot hotter this week than it was when I did the run before .... so then I didnt feel so bad. And then, I actually ended up speeding up a bit (unintentionally) in the latter miles, so I ended up running it faster anyways.
