Definitely a mistake - went out too fast the first 800, I guess because I'm a newb and because I haven't run anything like this pace in a while, let alone on an outdoor track. Would've loved this workout if it descended in time from 5:36-5:30 instead of ascended. Besides all the lactic acid I accumulated, I also really suffered from dehydration 'cause I thought the city would've turned on the water fountains by now. Not a pleasant workout but glad to get one in.
