nice three tonight. wanted to go 7:30 7:15 7. the first mile was tough to find my pace. i actually never did. i ranged from 7-7:50. Mile 2 was a little more consistent but difficult to maintain because of the wind. mile 3 was tough. it was mostly uphill so i decided to coast for the first uphill sections during the first half and make up for it on the second have. overall the workout was probably a little harder than it should have been since it was supposed to be an easy/medium run. My legs felt good and my foot didn't flare up. Just to be safe i made and ice tub to put my legs in. 15 minutes of that had my foot aching and my heart pounding. But i should be sore free tomorrow.

Nice run. The hills and wind definitely slowed things down. I know sometimes I frequently care about what the stop watch says, regardless of the course or conditions but don't worry if you sometimes have to slow things down.

Looks like you're getting more fit and after a few consistent weeks, you'll make some big gains. Maybe you can run 6:15s at the Murfreesboro race but all you can do is train and see where it takes you.

Thanks!! As long as i stay healthy i'll be good. i typically respond very well to changes in training and can make good fitness gains in short time. if i ever learn to eat right i'll be doing great. i should probably be 160 right now, not 180!!
