I was demotivated, but couldn't find a reason to not go. I didn't fall back asleep as I had hoped. I was going to have to shower and shave anyway. Might as well do it. I had been going beyond plan for prior workouts. Today, I just did the plan (2 mile aerobic run), though I did it barefoot. My only footwear was the foot-pod and a strip of Kinesio Tex Gold tape to hold it on. That is a nice elastic tape that would not restrict foot movement. I was curious about my cadence when not wearing some more solid footwear to strap the foot-pod to. My BF cadence averaged 170 and maxed at 190. HR was quite erratic at the start but evened out by the 3/4 mile point. I suspect the erratic bit was from the soles of my feet not being used to direct ground contact after being protected all winter.
