Intended as an easy run for the first part and then marathon pace for the last two miles, I ended up doing a bit more. The first 9 miles were run in the 7:20-25 range, which was a bit faster than intended even though I felt like I was holding myself back. I suppose I shouldn't run near the lake in Wakefield if I want to run easy because I push harder with the people around.
I was able to hold off a bit the last two miles, running around 6:30 pace. I was aiming for 6:45-50 pace, so I went a bit overboard, but at least I wasn't cranking 5:50s because I think I'd be paying for that tomorrow.
