Went to the Holliston track after work and banged out a serious workout. Ran the 1000s around 5k pace, then jogged 400 to the start of the next one. Not an absolute killer, but my legs definitely felt it. My intention was to go no faster than 3:30 for the intervals, but when it got very dark out I couldn't see my watch so I was going by feel on the last three. Not bad, and probably better for me in the long run to get acquainted with that effort level. It was fun running on the track at night, made it seem a little more intense.
