I intended to do a long run today, but because of time constraints related to Ellen's cousin's baptism, I had to settle for fewer miles. Because of that, I decided to run them a little quicker to see how I felt. My achilles were both a bit tight, but they didn't really hurt. After about 3-4 miles or so, they felt totally fine. The pace was quick for what I've been doing (~7:30 pace), and my hips and butt started to ache a little toward the 7th mile. After mile 7, I jogged the last mile home as a cooldown. Overall, this felt good, but I'm still terribly disappointed in my fitness level. I'm just hoping I can stay injury-free so I can build up that consistency.
