Today I ended the week with a semi-long run. I started out in the high 7 range, maybe 7:50 or so average for the first 3 miles. Around the 4 mile mark or so I settled into a good rhythm and just let it roll for a while. Crossed the ~10 mile mark around 1:15-1:16, so the final 6 miles was finished in about 42-43 minutes.

It felt like a pretty decent progression, though at the end of such a hilly course I was feeling a bit tired out. Today was my experiment to see if I can handle Gu, and it looks like a yes. I took it around mile 10 and didn't have any ill effects in the GI region. Though I will say I had some upset when I stopped, I think it's more due to the cookies and skittles I ate prior to the run. Man, I need to eat better.

Bit disappointed in the week as a whole, pretty low mileage overall. That dodgeball night on Monday basically killed training for me for the whole week; I was still feeling a bit of fatigue in my quads even today. I'm hoping to get into the 70-80 range for the next two weeks, then start a slow decline in mileage in anticipation of Disney.
