Today I decided to add a little bit of speed to my normal easy runs. I did the first 20 minutes very easy, around 8:00 or so pace, then for the next 15 minutes I did intervals of 15 seconds on 45 seconds off. The off times were the easy jog pace, and the 15 seconds on were somewhere in the neighborhood of mile to two mile pace. Basically I just wanted to get my legs turning over a bit without really fatiguing them. It was a pretty good run, I was able to touch on a bit faster pace than my normal daily jogs, but my legs don't feel any worse for it.
