This was a nice, solid workout. I did a 30 minute steady state run and let my HR dictate my pace. I started out a bit hard, but settled back and did pretty well keeping in the right range. I can definitely see the loss of fitness, since I had to slow down about 15 seconds/mile for the last 8-10 minutes or so. I'm hoping that and my overall pace improve as I keep doing these regularly.
