Workout Wednesday, decided on an 11.5 mile fartlek run. Fartleks and tempos are definitely my favorite kinds of runs, and this one was no exception. Very good run, feeling like I got a good workout without wearing myself down too much.

The workout was ~3 miles easy, then 6 intervals of 3 on 3 off, followed by an easy ~3 miles home. The intervals were 3 minutes of race pace followed by 3 minutes of very easy running, probably in the neighborhood of 8:00 miles.
