Notes
Today I ran home from the Champlain Farms after work. I thought that spending 7 hours on my feet would hinder my 10 miler, but it didn't seem to have a serious effect. Pretty much just went out and kept it steady for the whole time. From Waitsfield to Warren I think I was averaging sub 8:00s, but when I hit the Brook Road I slowed up due to the serious hills. All in all, this was a nice, moderate effort run.
Best part of the day by far was when the car full of kids drove by and the kid in the passenger seat leaned his head out and yelled "FAGGOT!" Pretty sure it was Derrick Eurich and his ilk. I feel that when someone smoking a cigarette takes it upon himself to make fun of me while I run, life is going pretty well for me.
