Threshold day, today's workout was 2x10 minutes hard with a 5 minute rest in between. I was planning on doing 6:15 pace, but I ended up with more like 6:30s. On the first interval, I had a mile of climbing to do, so my pace suffered there and my legs were very heavy at the end. The second interval was only a half mile climb and a lot of downhill, but I held back a lot on the uphill and coasted down the hill. It obviously felt really easy compared to the first, I probably should have pushed the uphill harder. All in all, it was a good workout, and it was good to go over 9 on a non-long day.
