Eleni and I went for a track workout. LH ran well, while I struggled with a painful Achilles. The plan was for a moderate volume workout... 6 x 800 with 400 rest. Achilles was bothering me warming up. I tried to do the workout, but stopped after one lap as the pain was affecting my speed.
There would be no point to trying to 'tough it out' with the race on Sunday. Better to rest it and hope to be 100% for the 10K.
