Is there karma? I ran through Bremen Park to Piers park and very close to where Eleni stepped on that frozen pine cone in Jan 2011 and broke her 5th metatarsal. I tripped on a raised edge of brick and went crashing to the brick pavement, landing on my left elbow, outside of left knee, hands and inside of right knee and ended up in a puddle of melted snow.
After I regained my composure, I started running again, but I struggled with pain in the right knee meniscus. Did the fall cause meniscus damage? It wasn't feeling good, so I cut the planned 8-10 miles to 6.
I am hoping it's just a bruise and nothing else.
