Slattery's 5 Miler, Fitchburg, MA. Flew in from SLC last night at 10:00pm. Time 27:59, place 17th. 4th master. 2nd fastest time here. Fastest 27:35, 30th place. At first I was disappointed with my time because being altitude trained and running a sea level race, I thought would be a big advantage. But coupled that I am still not 100% recovered from my cold and the late night cross country flight, didn't help me.
