First race since the Solway Half Marathon last June. I knew I wasn't in shape, but I was looking to go sub 36:00 minutes. I wasn't even close with 36:50, (7:19 pace).
My pace in the half marathon was almost the same - 7:20 as this 5 miler. What a difference a year makes.
Even though I was slower than expected, I ran hard and the foot didn't bother me much and it felt great to finally race again. :-)
