Notes

I messed up. I thought Run For All Ages was today. It was yesterday. I went online to see if there was another 5K I could do locally and the only one was a charity run for autism.

I felt ok warming up and went out somewhat conservative because th first mile had some uphill. I was surprised I was in 2nd place, about 12 seconds behind the leader. I quickly figured that this was more of a local fun run fundraiser.

I was a annoyed that the police who are paid to control traffic, didn't stop the traffic right away when I approached a busy road in the last mile. I had to stop and ;lost a few seconds.

The lead guy, even though I could still see him, was slowly pulling away. There were 2 female runners behind me by 2 minutes, so i knew I would be 2nd.

Coming to the finish, I did have a little left I didn't use because I found out the course was almost a tenth mile short (3:03). I dipped under 20:00 with 19:58, but in reality on an accurate course, it would be more like 20:20-20:25.

The best part of the race experience was my glute/hammy felt much better. The reduced miles I believe are helping.
