Notes
After yesterday, I was really itching to run hard. 3 x 1 mile with 3:00 rec. I did this on the A76 and the Holywood 5K/5M course. I was hoping to run 6;25 and was very happy to average 6:21 and that was with a slower first mile due to a windy last .3 mile.
My watch was just about dead, so I couldn't see the actual running time after the 2nd mile, so I had to guess start the last mile. It was actually 2;27, so about 30 seconds less recovery than I planned.
Running was smooth and in control. I didn't start to lose form a bit until the last 200.
Splits (adjusted): 6:28, 6:18, 6:17. Ave: 6:21.
As expected, the right baby toe was fine.
