Notes
Wearing big green derby and bow tie. It was windy. A thousand runners in ridiculous green outfits. Sallie, Brent, Jamie, Todd and his wife and sister-in-law, were there.
I was feeling good, and didn't really consider holding back, even if I should have for the sake of marathon training. Started and maintained a brisk pace. It was fun passing the plodding, bouncing runners with my fast smooth stride.
The course started and ended in the hanger, went around the museum, then across a field, down a gravel road, then onto the paved Mahoney roads. Lots of ups and downs, and I was passing people on both.
Lasses started 5:30 before the lads, and no lad caught the first lass, so lasses got a free beer.
