Notes
Well, I've got a for-real cold, after two years without a notable illness, this hits me days before the marathon. Staying home from work. In typical fashion, it's moving down from my pharynx into the Bronx. (Easier to just let autocorrect have its way here.) So I woke up at 5:15 and did my self assessment. Was I going to work today? No. Was I getting up for my run? I feel better than I did last night, and possibly better than I will later today. The weather is better and the traffic is lighter than it will be later. May as well get up and do it.
Interestingly, my legs finally feel strong, without the weariness I have been feeling, and yes, it was a lovely morning. Four others were out running. The moon, Jupiter, and Mars (?) were in a cluster.
Took a shower and went back to bed until 10:30. Slept well.
