Pleasant, cool weather with a southwest breeze. I didn't feel as strong as I expected, but the longer I ran, the more apparent it was that I had plenty of strength. On a whim, I began to count the other runners I was encountering, beginning with passing through six women on BW. Total of 53, several of whom I saw twice. I used mnemonic tricks to help keep track of the count. Was glad when #52 came along and I could say I was playing with a full deck. A while later, here came the joker.
